1/4 pound (113 grams) of 100% whole, dried mushrooms. Contains no substrate. Cultivated organically on northern hardwood sawdust that is inoculated with spawn made from organic barleyseed. Grown outdoors under shade cloth. Dried in the sun for maximum vitamin D content. Also known as Coriolus versicolor, Yun Zhi, Kawaratake.
These mushrooms are used by making tea or broth. Simmer the mushrooms for at least an hour, then strain them out and discard. Keep the tea/broth in the refrigerator.
